Estimation settings
The base hours and multipliers behind every estimate.
Settings → Estimation Engine holds the numbers that turn the four factor scores into hours. Everyone with access can view it; only the King and Super Admins can change it.
Four factor scores become working hours. Change the numbers here and every new estimate uses them — estimates already made keep the version they were computed with.
Constants
| Setting | Range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Base hours | 0.5–1000 h | What a Quest scoring the neutral point on every factor is worth, before multipliers. |
| Productive hours per day | 0.5–24 | Hours per Hero that count as focused work. Used for scheduling. |
| Test / dev overlap | 0–100% | How much testing runs alongside development. |
| Calibration threshold | 0–1000 Quests | Comparable closed Quests needed before an estimate stops being marked uncalibrated. |
Factor multipliers
One multiplier per score of each factor: Development Depth (1–3), Development Scope (1–5), Uncertainty (1–3) and Quest Bar (1–3). A multiplier of 1.00 leaves the base hours untouched.
Use Try the formula to preview the hours for any combination of scores, with a breakdown of where they come from.

Available once every multiplier is filled in. “vN is live. Estimates already computed keep their original numbers.”
