Roles
Who does what in Questify.
Everyone in Questify has a system role, which decides what they can do across the app. On a given Quest, three people also hold a Council seat.
System roles
Oversees all Heroes and Quests. Creates Adventures, approves Councils, completes Quests and releases XP. Configures the Game Engine, estimation and time-tracking settings.
Does the work. Creates, claims and moves Steps, comments, logs time, and earns XP. Can view Quests, estimates and materials, but not change Quests.
Council roles: product manager, tech lead and designer. Can create Quests, prepare them in the Council Hall, and oversee delivery.
Project manager. Oversees time across all Quests: sees everyone’s time, and can correct splits and add time outside the correction window, always with a recorded reason.
Manages users, audit logs and reports. Can archive Steps.
Full access to everything, including diagnostics. Can act for any Quest owner.
The King of a Quest
On a Quest, the King also means the Quest’s owner: whoever created it. The owner is the one who approves its Council’s work and completes it.
Council seats
