Questify MCP

Work with Questify from Claude and other AI assistants.

The Questify MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor to Questify through the Model Context Protocol . Once connected, you can ask your assistant in plain language to find Quests, read a board, move and comment on Steps, run your battle timer or draft your standup, without leaving your editor.

What it can do

AccessWhat the assistant can do
ReadWho you are, your work and Vault, search, Adventures, Quests, boards, Steps, work reports, file downloads and exports.
WriteCreate, edit, move and assign Steps, comment, run the battle timer and split its time, edit Quests and upload files.
Delete & adminArchive, delete, complete a Quest or change its lifecycle status, remove Heroes and Council members. Always asks you first.

Permissions

The assistant acts as you. You sign in with your own Questify account and approve the access it asked for, and Questify enforces your permissions on every request: the assistant can never do more than you can in the web app.

Two more limits apply on top of your permissions:

  • The access you approved. An app connected with Read cannot change anything, whatever your role.
  • Your role’s ceiling. An administrator sets the highest access each role may approve. By default, Kings and administrators may approve Delete & admin, and every other role Write. See MCP Access.

An assistant can make changes on your behalf. Review what it proposes before approving write actions. Deletes, archives and status changes always stop for your confirmation.

How it works

Questify hosts the server: there is nothing to install. Your assistant connects to it over HTTPS and signs you in through your browser (OAuth). No password or token is stored in the assistant’s config.
