The Hero team
Who can work on a Quest, and how the team is set.
Each Quest has a Hero team: the Heroes picked for it. Only these Heroes can claim or be given its Steps.
Before approval: set by the estimate
While the Council is preparing, the General picks the Heroes on the Select Heroes tab when confirming the estimate. The Heroes tab says “A Quest’s Hero team is set through its estimate until the King approves it.”
After approval: the Heroes tab
Once the Quest is Approved or in progress, the team is managed on the Heroes tab.

| Remove | Remove from Quest on a Hero’s row. Their unstarted Steps go back to the claimable pool. |
A Hero cannot be removed while they still hold started Steps or have a timer running on the Quest: “Clear that first; everything they logged stays theirs.”
Who can change the team: the Quest’s General, its owning King, or a Super Admin. Once the Quest is completed, the team is frozen as part of its record.
