Adventures
Group related Quests into one project.
An Adventure groups your Quests into one project, for example Mobile App Redesign. Every regular Quest belongs to an Adventure, and the Adventure decides which Game Board its Quests’ Steps run on.
Create an Adventure
Only the King (and Super Admins) can create Adventures.
Open Adventures and click New Adventure
Fill in the details
| Field | |
|---|---|
| Adventure Name | A clear, memorable name, up to 200 characters. |
| Adventure Key | Uppercase letters only, such as MAR. Suggested from the name’s initials; edit it if you like. Must be unique. |
| Description | Optional, up to 2000 characters. |
Click Create Adventure
You are taken to the new Adventure’s page.
The key appears in every Step key of the Adventure (such as MAR-1-04). It locks once a Quest links to the Adventure, so choose it carefully.
The Adventure page
The header shows the key, name and status, who created it, and how many Quests are completed and in progress. The tabs are:
| Tab | |
|---|---|
| Overview | A summary of the Adventure. |
| Quests | Its Quests as cards, a table, or a timeline. Filter by name, status, type or King, and Create Quest inside the Adventure. |
| Team | The people working in the Adventure. |
| Time | Development and testing time per Quest and per Hero. Visible to leaders. See Time reports. |
Archived Quests are left out of the Adventure’s progress, charts and Quest list. Switch on Show archived quests to include them.
Status
An Adventure’s status follows its Quests:
| Status | When |
|---|---|
| Created | It has no Quests yet, or none has started. |
| In Progress | At least one Quest has started. |
| Done | Every Quest is completed. |
| Archived | The King archived it. |
Settings and archiving
Open Settings on the Adventure page to rename it. Under Danger Zone, Archive Adventure retires it once every Quest is completed. An Adventure with no Quests cannot be archived.
Game Board
An Adventure runs on the default Game Board unless a different board is assigned to it. Boards are assigned by the King from Settings → Game Engine. See Game Boards.
