Submitting and approval
Send your Council work to the King, and how the King approves it or asks for changes.
When a Council member has finished their contribution, they send it to the King. The King reviews each seat’s work, approves it or sends it back, and finally approves the whole Council, which moves the Quest to Approved.
Send your work for review
Add your materials
You need at least one link, or at least one file you uploaded yourself. Notes alone do not count.
Write notes for the King (optional)
Context or open questions, up to 2000 characters. The King sees them with your submission.
Click Send for King Review
In the Review & Submit section at the bottom of the Quest.
What happens next:
- Your status becomes Submitted (Waiting For Review), and the King is notified.
- Your contribution is locked: you cannot add or remove links or files, or edit notes, until the King responds.
- The page shows “Your submission is under review. You’ll be notified when the King provides feedback.”
The King’s review
The King opens the review from the Quest page with Approve. The Approve Council Work window shows one card per seat (Wizard, General, Alchemist), each with that member’s submitted files and links. Click a file to download it.
Approve one member
Click Approve on a member’s card. It is available once that member has submitted work. Their status becomes Approved, and the Council is notified.
Approve everyone at once
Approve All (under Quick Actions) approves every submitted member without moving the Quest on. It is available once every active seat has submitted.
Approve and move the Quest on
Approve & Continue approves everyone and moves the Quest to Approved. It is enabled once every active seat has submitted or been approved: “All active council roles must submit work before continuing.”
Ask for changes
From the Quest’s Council tab, open the member’s seat and click Request Changes. Explain what needs to change and click Send Feedback.
The member’s status becomes Changes Requested (Need Action in the Council Hall), their contribution unlocks, and they see your message in a Feedback from King card. When they resubmit, review it again with Approve Changes.
After approval
Once the Quest is Approved:
- the committed estimate becomes visible to the Heroes (who sees what),
- the Quest is ready to start delivery: Select Heroes on the Quest page opens Start Quest, which opens the Step Workspace for the Heroes. See Quest lifecycle.
XP for Council work
Council members are rewarded when the Quest is completed, not when they submit. Each eligible seat receives a share of the Quest’s XP pool, as configured in the XP settings. See Earning XP.
